Facebook recently went through a massive overhaul of the Event Manager and thus the Facebook Pixel, how to set it up, and how to access the Pixel code has all changed. Even creating custom conversions has moved to a new location.
After stressing about these new changes and Facebook not offering updated publication (surprise, surprise), I decided to jump in and figure out the solution to this new pixel issue on my own.
First thing I did was hop into my own Ads Manager and tweak where I could, read the prompts that popped up, and tried following this labyrinth of Facebook help tips. Which never fully answered my questions.
